Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Nuvo Swim, we understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our instructors while ensuring that lesson time remains available to those who need it.

Standard Cancellation

Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice at no charge.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson incur a fee equal to 50% of the lesson cost.

No-Shows

If you do not show up for a scheduled lesson and did not cancel in advance, you will be charged the full lesson fee.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please contact us as soon as possible via:

Cancellations are effective based on when we receive your notification, not when you send it. We recommend confirming receipt of your cancellation request.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Lessons may be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, including:

  • Lightning or thunderstorms
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Heavy rain or severe weather

Weather-related cancellations initiated by Nuvo Swim will be rescheduled at no charge and no cancellation fee will apply.

Pool Closures and Access Issues

If a lesson cannot take place due to:

  • Unexpected pool closures
  • Pool maintenance or cleaning
  • Building access restrictions
  • Pool equipment failures or unsafe conditions

The lesson will be rescheduled at no charge. However, you are responsible for verifying pool availability prior to scheduled lessons. If pool access is unavailable and we were not notified in advance with at least 24 hours notice, standard cancellation fees may apply.

Instructor Cancellations

In the rare event that Nuvo Swim must cancel a lesson due to instructor illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible
  • Reschedule at no charge, or
  • Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

Repeated Cancellations

We reserve the right to discontinue services for clients with a pattern of frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows, as this impacts our ability to serve other clients effectively.

Important: By scheduling a lesson with Nuvo Swim, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a reliable schedule for all our clients.
